The Con guration of Complex Systems

چکیده
Foundational work from logic and category theory is applied to the practical problem of constructing complex engineering systems from their component parts. System connguration involves keeping the history of system construction and is carried out by applying combinators to recursively deened system components. The results of connguration are represented precisely by constructing diagrams in a three-dimensional development space. A new and simple module concept is deened to manage the complexity of large engineering systems by enabling a reusable system component to be represented and reasoned about at any level of development.
